Jan Koppelaar Profile picture This photo, called 'Mud', was taken in the Kersbergserak near Lexmond (South Holland, Netherlands). This natural area lies on the river De Lek. Because it was low tide, but also because of the extreme low water in the Netherlands, large parts of the riverbed fell dry. This gave the landscape a completely different character. The sunset provided a beautiful colour palette.

Jan Koppelaar (1984) is from 2000 an enthusiastic hobby photographer. In 1999, he received his first 35 mm SLR camera. Since then he combines photography with enjoying nature. Jan is a self-taught. That is to say that it has learned everything myself by many to look for pictures of other photographers. As a result, Jan is increasingly taught. Jan lives in the Alblasserwaard. This area is known for its beautiful windmills and landscapes. Jan is a lot in this area.Jan photographs with a Sony DSLR-A100 and a Sony SLT-A58. In addition he used different lenses
