In a park in Palermo I saw this palm tree. For me, a palm tree is synonymous with vacation. When I see a palm tree I associate it with southern Europe, with warm days and temperatures of 30 degrees or more and with summer and relaxation, with a terrace to eat or drink. And with sand, sea, beach, water, nature and greenery.
Palermo is the capital of Sicily, the largest island in Italy. Palermo is a huge city where there is much to see. It is wonderful to stroll through the streets of this southern Italian city. Relax in a park, visit a museum, drink coffee at a bar, walk by the harbor or visit an old church.
I made the photo black and white to make it a graphic image. More shadow and black in the tree and the sky just a bit more white for contrast.
