Catharina-Amalia Beatrix Carmen Victoria (Amalia), Princess of Orange, Princess of the Netherlands, Princess of Orange-Nassau (The Hague, December 7, 2003) is the Crown Princess of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the eldest child of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and Queen Máxima. As of 30 April 2013, she is the first in line of succession to the throne and is formally referred to as Her Royal Highness the Princess of Orange.

We are Gerhard van Dijkhuizen and Colet Scheper. Together we came up with the concept hou2use. Based on a photo we invent, design and create unique, personal and affordable art on wood. We strongly believe in sustainability and therefore we prefer to make portraits of people or (domestic) animals on used or discarded wood.

We love most art on commission. We then conceive and create, together with you and especially for you, a custom-made work of art or portrait on wood.

Thanks to our special collaboration with Werk aan de Muur, you can also reproduce our unique work in virtually any format and on virtually any material!

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
