Scottish Highlander / High land Cow, abstract painting

MadameRuiz Profile picture An abstract painting of a Scottish highlander in warm shades of brown combined with black, blue and gray.

The long-haired, reddish-brown cow is no longer indispensable in the interior. It has truly become a style icon. And that's not surprising, because this cow has a very high cuddliness, creating a soft and friendly atmosphere in your interior. While the highlander is also a rugged animal, which looks powerful, strong and wild. This certainly makes it a tough eye-catcher, making it popular with both men and women.

The highlander cow also gives you a feeling of freedom, with those long hairs blowing in the Dutch wind. You connect your inside with the outside.

Because of the abstraction in this painting, this is a very peaceful work of art and the subject and the use of color fit perfectly into a country style of living. This style of living fits perfectly with the strength and toughness of the cow, as well as the soft, authentic character of this style.

Besides creating a rural atmosphere with this painting, this type of cow fits into almost any style of home, from modern to classic and from bohemian to Scandinavian.

The abstraction is obtained by using various types of brush strokes, drips and subtle splashes.

I am MadameRuiz, and am an artist by profession. I hope to delight you with my work. Here in my profile, or on your wall :) Both are fun!

Will you let me know what you think of my work? I would love to get in touch with you. Also when you have one of my works in your home I am very curious about the end result in your interior.

I love everything that has to do with art, culture and creativity. Experiencing, creating, teaching and communicating. Through language, image, non-verbal and through the musical voice.

I became known for my commissioned ink portraits. My work was first shown to a large audience in the program VTWonen Weer verliefd op je huis (February 2021). I make many ink portraits of and for individuals; from pregnancy portraits, wedding portraits, child portraits, love portraits and family portraits to portraits of pets such as dogs, cats, horses and birds. These ink portraits are all handmade by the way, drawn and painted with east indian ink on watercolor paper.

In my shop at work on the wall you can order my Digital Art. Because I normally work almost exclusively on commission, my autonomous art via Digital Art is really a wonderful experimental outlet. This also means that I keep experimenting with painting techniques and collage techniques using Photoshop. Although I love to experiment, quality comes first
