Until 27 November 1741 Egmond aan Zee had a church which also bore the name Sint-Agnes church. This church had to be abandoned to the sea due to the encroaching water, and the remnants of this church still lie a hundred metres off the coast of Egmond aan Zee.
As a child, there was already a predilection for visual art. As a technician, I was always creative in products, services and working methods. In later years, more time was taken for my art (photography) passion.
