Still life with coffee and croissant | A moment for yourself
Are you a real coffee lover? Do you like a quiet morning with a newspaper on the table? And do you love a delicious French breakfast with a creamy, crispy butter croissant? A warm ray of sunshine shines through the kitchen window and a fantastic day is about to begin.
With this lovely, somewhat abstract painting, you can create a luxurious relaxing French-style morning. One thing is clear, the smell will meet you as soon as you look at this painting.
The composition of this watercolour is playful, with many diagonal lines for a delightful dynamic that brings tension to your kitchen. With beautiful colours like blue, yellow, orange and brown, this gives both a warm and cold colour palette, wonderfully balanced. The shapes have a geometric base, but due to the painterly structure, they do not feel hard, but rather playful and have a somewhat cubist feel.
Hang this work in your kitchen or coffee shop and create a wonderful Sunday morning moment, every day of the week. Relaxation at its best.

I am MadameRuiz, and am an artist by profession. I hope to delight you with my work. Here in my profile, or on your wall :) Both are fun!
Will you let me know what you think of my work? I would love to get in touch with you. Also when you have one of my works in your home I am very curious about the end result in your interior.
I love everything that has to do with art, culture and creativity. Experiencing, creating, teaching and communicating. Through language, image, non-verbal and through the musical voice.
I became known for my commissioned ink portraits. My work was first shown to a large audience in the program VTWonen Weer verliefd op je huis (February 2021). I make many ink portraits of and for individuals; from pregnancy portraits, wedding portraits, child portraits, love portraits and family portraits to portraits of pets such as dogs, cats, horses and birds. These ink portraits are all handmade by the way, drawn and painted with east indian ink on watercolor paper.
In my shop at work on the wall you can order my Digital Art. Because I normally work almost exclusively on commission, my autonomous art via Digital Art is really a wonderful experimental outlet. This also means that I keep experimenting with painting techniques and collage techniques using Photoshop. Although I love to experiment, quality comes first
