About the artwork

The Ford Mustang GT Edition from 1964 is one of the most popular models of the Ford Mustang. The original model featured wall-to-wall carpeting. The seats were front buckets, while the optional rear bench seat was also available. The car featured a sports-car style steering wheel, a floor-mounted shifter, and a full-height headliner. This version of the iconic pony car was produced in just 121,538 units.

The Ford Mustang GT Edition from 1964 was designed with high-performance performance in mind. The base model features a 170-cid V6 engine and is powered by a 200-cid V8. The new model features a six-speed manual transmission, a torque converter, and a traction control system. The Ford Mustang GT was also the first car to feature a cassette player and an eight-track tape player.

The original Shelby Mustang GS was the first GT edition. It was built with a Fox body, which was added to the car in 1979. It was based on a design by David Ash, a Detroit style icon. The GT interior was also special. It featured a chrome grille with a running horse, and full wheel covers. The 1964 Mustang featured a 260-cid, 164-horsepower V-8 or a fire-breathing 289-cid V-8 engine. All Mustangs were equipped with larger sway bars, a quicker steering ratio, and grill-mounted foglights
