The shadow of the chair could be a nice title for a book. In this case, it captures what is seen in the photograph.
This chair was in a plaza somewhere in Washington DC.
Washington DC the city where the White House and the U.S. Capitol stands. Washington DC is a great place to see all kinds of things. During our visit we walked a lot. On the National Mall, the large and long lawn right in front of the Capitol, there are museums on both sides. But also various monuments such as Peace monument, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Vetrans, Korean War Vetrans, Washington, Martin Luther King Jr, World War ll, United States Holocaust and the Dwight D Eisenhower Memorial.
When you've been to all of these and seen it all you just want to sit on a terrace somewhere.
Washington DC is fortunately a city where nice outdoor cafes that you find in the USA not much. In the sun, a sandwich and a drink and you can go again.
