Time is often seen as a linear continuum; a straight line. Each moment comes after the previous one and is succeeded by the next. We often experience time differently. Sometimes time stands still; moments last an eternity. Another time the moments flash by. Every place, thing or person follows its own timeline. The timelines merge, intersect and move away from each other, forming an incalculable tangle.
Photography started for me in the analog era; with slide film. Meanwhile I photograph digitally for some years and all that time with a Nikon. I put down a selection of photos here. If you see a picture of me on my website, Flickr or 500px, which is not listed here, and you would like to buy it, please send me a message on info@jaapkloppenburgfotografie.nl.
