About ‘Torn paper shapes and lines abstract 2’ by Western Exposure

This work began with an acrylic monoprint using torn paper pieces which I then turned into a digital work, playing with colours, shapes and their edges. This resulted in interesting contrasts of light and dark colours, warm red and light yellow and cool blue, straight and torn edges.

A few years ago I started to create digital works, based on my photographs or purely in Photoshop - the latter mostly as abstract works. Recently I have also started working with acrylic paints.
