With my camera I like to travel around the world. To capture the feeling and emotion of the city, nature or the subject I photograph, I use creative and analogue lenses. In this way I am forced to look closely to capture the soul as I see it. I especially use lenses that focus on the part where my heart and eye go out. I am inspired by my love for the Old Masters and impressionism.
In black and white I like it raw. The attention is focused on the emotion. And as with any emotion, grain sometimes develops. That makes the image even more pure and natural. Exactly as it is meant to be.
But above all, I try to tell a story with every photo. A story about who I am and how I see the world. Often in color with all its beauty. And sometimes in black and white. With a lot of emotion.

My inspiration comes from the simple things in life; riding on bikes with my family, the smell of freshly baked bread or freshly mown grass, reading books, making music and enjoying a beautiful sunset. I love to travel around the globe to meet new people and places. But most of all... I get intensely happy with light. Beautiful light to capture life as it is. The life that I live. Life as I see it. The life that I love..
