The beauty of concrete. Handmade world map in which cement / concrete plays the main role.
In this case, the map of the world is modelled on a painted navy-blue background in an abstract style with broad 'highly visible' brushstrokes.
All continents are made with cement and applied with a palette knife. This gives the world map a rough and tough look with a contrast-rich relief.
The original world map has a size of 160x90cm and has been photographed in high resolution. The fine and raw details of the dried cement and the brush strokes are therefore clearly visible. For a close-up of this work click on the picture.
This unique world map is a beautiful eye-catcher in the style of "Raw Beauty" and fits perfectly, for example, in a tough boys' room, meeting room (of a construction company) or in a living room or interior with an industrial style in which the Concrete look appears.
World maps are 'story starters' and provide both at home and at the office for fun and interesting conversations about the beautiful places we have visited around the world.
