The south side of the Great Ring of Wroclaw (Rynek). It was also called the "Goldene Becher side" or the "side by the old gallows". Breslau's main market is laid out as a wide ring around a central block of other buildings. At the end of the Second World War, Wroclaw (german Breslau) was one of the most devastated German cities, so it is hardly surprising that almost all the buildings on this side of the ring are reconstructions of the post-war years. Most of them are based on the façade design of the buildings around 1800 and less on the building view before World War II. The building with the three orange gables (No. 19) once gave its name to the side as "Haus zum Galgen" (House to the Gallows), as the public place of execution of the city was located in front of it. This image montage of the Rynek in Wroclaw was created from several multi-perspective shots.
