The Zeeland Bridge on a windless day after the sun has just disappeared behind horizon. The shot was taken with a slow shutter speed to show the movement in the clouds and 'quiet' the water. An additional benefit of this is that the road traffic on the bridge is no longer visible.
Sometime in 1980 Jan bought his first SLR camera and since that time a camera has always been at his fingertips. His varied work ranges from snapshots of people in his immediate surroundings to landscape, macro and bird photography. He is also the regular photographer of his wife's ballet school and thus regularly at work in the theater.
