Als vrij, dat wil zeggen niet commercieel gebonden fotograaf, ben ik al een jaar of 50 actief. Mijn hoofdthema's zijn architectuur, landschap, straatfotografie en natuur.
Ik was een aantal jaren docent fotografie aan de volksuniversiteit. ik ben lid van het fotografencollectief De Zutphense en van de Kunstkring Brummen. Ik werk uitsluitend digitaal, vooral full frame opnamen (Canon EOS 5D) en ik optimaliseer mijn foto's in Adobe Lightroom en maak zelf mijn afdrukken op papier. Mijn werk is bij veel gelegenheden en op veel plaatsen tentoon gesteld.
