About ‘Idyllic French Bridge’ by Jacques Jullens

Near Fontaine de Vaucluse flows a small body of water, canaldecarpentra, a man-made canal to supply water to lands in the luberon. The canal even has a Romanesque-looking aqueduct that "is only" over 160 years old.

The whole canal is 65 km long, but including all its branches, over 700 km.

Wonderful to walk there…
