Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Lumpfish between the Japanese currant algae’ by Filip Staes

In the trade this fish is called Lumpfish. The eggs are sold as fake caviar. The fish itself is not fit for consumption. In the diving mouth we call them Lumpsuckers. This is a male in beautiful spawning colors. Males look for a suitable nest and wait for a female to come along. When the eggs are deposited, the female disappears again…
