About ‘Painted Urbex Ballet’ by Arjen Roos

A graceful ballerina in an abandoned and dilapidated industrial, urbex building. The light shines in beautifully with long rays of light through the fabric that rises up as the Ballerina dances.

The contrast between the graceful lines and shapes of the beautiful dancer and the dilapidated, dusty and dark building really appeals to me. The abandoned places where people don't look back anymore can still show a fairytale like beauty.

This warm painted portrait with beautiful light contains a lot of detail so you can always see something in it. Because of the high resolution this work is very suitable for a large print or canvas.
