Portrait between reality and dream

Poetic portrait in which a woman's face merges with painterly textures and floral details. Her profile is elegant and serene, eyes closed and lips slightly open, as if she is in a moment of silence and surrender. Around her face and shoulders, shapes of flowers and soft brushstrokes blur, making it seem as if she is partly constructed from the paint itself.

The colours are soft and harmonious: warm skin tones merge with pastel pink and beige flowers, while subtle dark accents provide contrast and depth. The contrast between realistically rendered details - such as the skin and fine contours of her face - and the abstract, fading brushstrokes gives the work a dreamlike, almost ethereal feel. The interplay of bright white and deep shadow enhances this sense of mystery and stillness.

The work evokes themes of impermanence, beauty and transformation. As if the woman slowly merges into nature, the painting captures both a moment of blossoming and fading. The result is an image that is at once powerful and vulnerable - an ode to the transition between reality and dream, between presence and memory.
