In South Africa, we regularly saw the zebra while visiting parks and nature reserves. The easiest description for a zebra is a small stocky horse with black and white stripes. In nature reserves where you are allowed to walk and hike, you can encounter them - like bokkies and deer - in the wild. They seem accustomed to humans as they simply stand and watch you from a small distance. I find the zebra's fur really fascinating with all the different patterns the stripes make. And the long eyelashes framing the eyes give the animal a sweet look. Because of the black and white stripes, I decided to convert the entire photo to black and white.
