About the artwork

In "Strange Tears" the viewer is transported into a world where emotion and perspective merge in a visually powerful scene. The lady in question, seemingly calm, wears glasses that not only filter her view of the world, but also seem to be the source of a thunderstorm clouding her vision.

The glasses, symbolic of the way she experiences reality, transform her tears into a torrent of thunderclouds, flowing across her face like a cascade. This image suggests that our perception of the world around us is as changeable as the weather, and that our inner storms can sometimes become as tangible as the physical world.

Atop her head, intertwined with the shape of a hat, is a black cat - a classic symbol of mystery and superstition. The cat acts as an emblematic shield heralding a lurking doom, adding another layer of complexity and meaning to the portrait.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
