As a photographer, I am always looking for unique moments and special locations. My fine art photo "Way out" is the result of an inspiring day in a London tube station.

At the moment of the photo, an elegant woman in a beautiful dress is in the tube station, ready to reach the exit. The contrast between her stylish appearance and the urban surroundings creates an intriguing image.

I chose to convert the photo in black and white to emphasise the shapes, contrasts and atmosphere. The black and white gives the photo a timeless character and emphasises the dreamy ambience of the moment.

The metro station serves as a symbolic backdrop, a place of passage and travel. It gives the feeling of a city that never sleeps, full of possibilities and encounters. The lines, light and architecture of the station add an extra visual element to the composition.

With "Way out" I wanted to evoke a sense of mystery, adventure and longing. The image invites the viewer to experience the woman's journey and wonder what her story is and where she is going.
