About the artwork

Out of nothing, space and time emerged, forever intertwined. The imperfections of fate were present from the beginning. Irregularities were the cause of local densifications and dilutions, where densifications led to the formation of stars and planets, the dilutions to empty space in between. Without irregularities, there would be no life.

Every human being is intertwined with the stars. Oxygen and carbon would not exist without the imploding and exploding stars of the distant past. The thread from these distant beginnings to humans today is long but unbreakable.

In Norse mythology, the Norns weave the fate of humans. In many ways, they are similar to the fate goddesses among Romans (Parcae) and Greeks (Moirae) in classical antiquity. As fate goddesses, they spin the thread of life, weaving together the destiny of every human being. The big difference between these Norse fate goddesses and those from classical antiquity is that the fate the Norse weave is not final but much more dynamic, leaving room for humans to change their destiny.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
