The Netherlands in Watercolor

This collection contains watercolor paintings of Dutch locations that I have visited myself and the compositions of which I have recorded on location by means of a sketch or photo. All watercolors are hand painted and drawn in an impressionist manner with ink and then colored with watercolor. This watercolor technique is called 'line and wash' and is a technique that I like to paint. Through the combination of my own style and the use of loose pen and brush strokes, the paintings have a dynamic and playful appearance. And the use of high-contrast, bright and bright colors makes the paintings cozy and interesting to look at and beautiful catchers to hang on the wall. In this collection you will find paintings of famous Dutch lighthouses, coastlines, landscapes, cityscapes and more.
