A branch of Pink Quince Blossom Buds macro photograph. The quince is the first bush to bloom in our garden to the delight of our honeybees. The quince bush grows its blossom in tide clusters and at times one can not see the branches once the blossoms are wide open.
This pink blossom is the only one of our quince variety-producing fruits we can make into jelly and quince cheese. The love for quince jelly was how we ended up with the quince bushes in our yard. Quince jelly was not that easily available in our local stores. As avid gardeners, it was only a matter of time before we would plant them. The quince cheese we make from those fruits we can gift to our food-loving friends and family.
This macro photograph was photographed after an afternoon spring rain. There is a sense of coolness in this floral artwork. The view is at eye level and the focus is to the right.
