Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Adder in Namibia's desert’ by Anneke Hooijer

It is quite exciting when you come across this snake in the desert. During the Living Desert tour near Swakopmund, this viper showed itself. You can tell where it has been by the zigzag tracks it leaves behind. The snake has the colours of the sand and when it digs in and you only have its eyes above the sand, it is almost untraceable.
