Angry People: A Cubist Panorama

The ‘Angry People’ Cubist panorama depicts a dense composition of overlapping faces in profile, constructed from numerous faceted planes in a rich palette of red, blue, orange and deep taupe. The faces appear to be leaning towards one another, in a tense gathering that evokes a sense of unease and confrontation. The textured brushwork gives each surface a subtle, almost metallic sheen. The rich combination of red, blue and orange in the overlapping surfaces creates an intense and layered design, giving this photo print a strong visual impact in any space. The texture and sheen of the surfaces lend the work a surprisingly tangible depth.

The inspiration for this image lies in the classical Cubist tradition of breaking down human figures into sharp, intersecting planes, thereby depicting tension and emotion in an abstract manner. The dense composition reinforces the sense of a heated confrontation between the figures.

This is a striking addition to an expressive, artistic space where character and depth are valued. Whether hung in a living room, office or study with a bold interior, this artwork forms a powerful focal point. Available in various materials and sizes, this print blends effortlessly with any desired interior style.
