The artwork 'Eruption' in the town of Vlissingen, the Netherlands is a minimalist sculpture consisting of two meters-high steel columns rising from the water, each with V-shaped slots. The sculpture is designed so that with rising tide and a southwesterly wind, the water is propelled into the slots, with a force that causes the water to spray back up like clouds.
