Autumn Forest Buddha Temple

A large statue of the buddha rises beside an ornate temple gate, framed by glowing autumn trees. Golden leaves and deep crimson foliage surround the architecture like a natural halo, while soft mist and drifting color pull the eye along the steps leading into the doorway. The calm face of the statue anchors the scene, its features clear against a mix of warm ochres, violets and midnight blues that suggest evening light settling over the forest.

This piece grew from the idea of a hidden sanctuary found at the end of a quiet path. Loose washes and controlled drips blur the edges of trunks and branches so the building and the statue stand out in crisp detail. Hints of light along the stairs and roofs invite the viewer to imagine walking into the temple space. On a wall the composition works as a dramatic yet peaceful focal point for living rooms, studios or meditation corners, bringing the feeling of a sacred landscape wrapped in autumn color.
