The sun sinks slowly into the sea, its last light gliding across the water and kissing the rocks on which Riomaggiore is built. The facades in red, ochre and pink seem to light up for a moment, as if to hold on to the day's farewell. Between the narrow streets the heat of the day still hangs, but below, near the small harbour, the air…
