Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.

  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Church Oudeschans’ by Bo Scheeringa Photography

Nice atmosphere of the former garrison church of Oudeschans in the province of Groningen. The church was built in 1626 and initially served the military personnel stationed here. It is an extremely sober hall church, just like in the other two border fortresses, Nieuweschans and Bourtange.

Bo Scheeringa is an enthusiastic landscape photographer, with a great passion for the Dutch province of Groningen and Ireland. She also specializes in portrait and documentary photography. Bo mainly works on her own projects.
She published two photo books: in 2017 "RUIM LEVEN a portrait of North Groningen and its inhabitants" appeared, and in 2021 she published the photo book "PEAT".
