Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Classic Arts Remixed’ by Marja van den Hurk

This artwork is a fusion of two paintings from the early 20th century.

The woman in the foreground is from the famous artwork "Portrait of a Polish Woman", painted by Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani around 1919. The model depicted is most likely Lunia Czechowska, a close friend of the painter who often posed for him.
