Mark Bolijn Profile picture Morning shot in Nationaal Park Loonse en Drunense Duinen, near Helvoirt. The sun is almost above the horizon and the sky has threatening clouds, giving a grim atmosphere.

Nature photography and travel photography. Two forms of photography that appeal to me enormously. Both are great to combine!
I love to look for the sometimes more unknown, but special places that are unique and characteristic of a town or city. An authentic narrow street, a stately building or a picturesque square, photographed with different conditions in weather and light, which results in powerful photos.
I also try to show the weather and the lighting clearly in landscape photos. Long exposure times for a dreamy atmosphere or beautiful clouds for a dynamic panorama also yield powerful photos.
This way I am always traveling through nature and culture!
