Deer face in a colourful patterned panorama

This panoramic painting of a deer’s face in colourful patterns depicts a deer’s head symmetrically composed of countless curling, undulating shapes in a rich palette of petrol blue, coral orange and deep red. Above the head, an elegant, flame-shaped structure rises like a crown, whilst the deer’s two eyes gaze gently and kindly from the centre of the composition. Numerous spiral garlands unfurl around the face, flowing into one another like lush foliage or undulating water, with a dense, embroidered texture that lends the whole a tangible richness.

Vibrant petrol blue and orange tones in a flowing, symmetrical design give this photo print a mesmerising, artistic appeal that adds character to any room. The contrast between the warm, fiery colours around the crown and the cooler shades of blue in the surrounding curls creates a vibrant interplay of colours, whilst every spiral and line is rendered with a dense, almost woven precision. This rich texture lends the composition a surprisingly organic movement.

This work draws on the tradition of folk art and textile patterns, in which animals are fused with decorative, almost hypnotic ornamentation. By placing the deer’s face centrally amongst the undulating curls, an enchanting interplay between nature and abstraction is created. Nothing in the composition appears random; every line reinforces the rhythm and symmetry of the whole.

This colourful artwork is a perfect fit for a modern, artistic or eclectic interior where colour and symmetry set the tone. Available on various materials and in multiple sizes, the expressive power of this design remains compelling on any scale.
