Diamond sculpture

This diamond sculpture depicts a large, cut diamond viewed from the side, the left-hand half of which is transparent and clear with sparkling facets, whilst the right-hand half is jet black and mirror-smooth. The sharp cut surfaces refract the light into countless lines and reflections, making the clear crystal appear almost dazzling, whilst the black side radiates a sense of calm and depth. The diamond rests with its sharp point on a glossy surface in which its reflection and a soft patch of light are visible. The dark, purple background with its soft colour gradient enhances the cool, precious aura of the whole. The contrast between transparency and opacity makes the image both light and heavy.

Clear crystal, deep black and a soft purple glow form a cool and luxurious colour palette that gives this work of art a precious, almost magical aura.

For centuries, the diamond has symbolised purity, value and indestructibility, and by splitting the stone into two contrasting halves, this piece plays with light and shadow, clarity and mystery.

For an elegant living room, bedroom or dressing room where glamour and tranquillity come together, this wall-mounted artwork is a stylish choice, and it is available in various materials and sizes.
