Dramatic clouds over the Mediterranean

Dramatic clouds at sunrise over the Mediterranean. High up in the sky, bright golden yellow meets orange meets pale blue. The coastal landscape at Cap d'Or in Moraira appears as a dark silhouette. Early in the morning, I like to look for a vantage point where I can view the coast of Calpe and Moraira from an elevated position. When the sky is cloudy, I find the abstract, rapidly changing clouds very attractive. When the clouds are illuminated by the warm sunlight, the sky can turn into a fantastic dreamscape. Just like that morning when I took the photo.

When I watch the sky, I sometimes have the feeling of floating in a sea of clouds. The feeling of travelling back in time, where sunlight meets air and the lightness of soft clouds. So this shot is dedicated to the picturesque skyscapes on the Costa Blanca in Spain and the tranquil ambience at dawn. The clouds symbolise the magic of the moment, which is part of the constant change in nature.
