In "Emerald Divide" sehen wir ein abstraktes, impressionistisches Gemälde, das eine Traumlandschaft oder ein abstrahiertes Stadtbild in der Dämmerung darstellt. Die vorherrschende Farbpalette ist weich und gedämpft, dominiert von staubigem Altrosa, gedämpftem Grau und tiefen, fast schwarzen oder weinroten Tönen, die durch subtile, schlammige Türkis- und Grüntöne akzentuiert werden. Die Textur des Gemäldes ist reich und taktil, mit sichtbaren Pinselstrichen und Spachtelspuren, die eine tiefe, geschichtete Oberfläche erzeugen und das Licht auf subtile Weise streuen. Der obere Teil des Gemäldes, der etwa zwei Drittel des Bildes einnimmt, ist überwiegend in einem hellen, dunstigen Altrosa gehalten, das sich weich mit dem helleren Himmel im rechten und oberen Bereich vermischt. Im rechten oberen und mittleren Bereich sticht eine vertikale, dunklere Masse hervor, die fast scharfkantig begrenzt ist und tiefrote bis schwarze Töne aufweist, wodurch eine starke vertikale Betonung entsteht. Der untere Teil des Gemäldes wird von einer horizontalen, dunkleren Masse dominiert, die als Horizontlinie fungiert und eine Stadtansicht oder eine Baumreihe darstellen könnte, eingebettet in die altrosafarbenen und grauen Schichten, während sich rechts davon dunklere, schwache Schatten nach unten ziehen. Innerhalb dieser dunkleren Horizontlinie, leicht links von der Mitte und unterhalb der Hauptmasse, sind einige wenige, schwache, diffus leuchtende grüne Punkte oder Lichter zu erkennen, die wie entfernte Stadtlichter oder vielleicht sogar eine schwache Aurora borealis in der Ferne wirken. Unterhalb des Horizonts befindet sich eine breite, spiegelnde Wasserfläche oder ein nasser Boden, der die darüber liegenden Farben und Formen in gedämpften, weich verwischten Tönen reflektiert, wobei die grünen Lichter ebenfalls schwach im Wasser widergespiegelt werden. Die gesamte Komposition ist horizontal ausgerichtet, mit einem klaren Gleichgewicht zwischen den dunklen, schweren Elementen des Horizonts und der reflektierenden Fläche unten und den leichteren, dunstigen Altrosatönen des Himmels oben, unterbrochen von der starken vertikalen dunklen Säule rechts. Der Gesamteindruck ist der von Ruhe, Melancholie und einer tiefen, kontemplativen Atmosphäre, die durch das gedämpfte Licht und die weichen Farbübergänge erzeugt wird. Die Interpretation bleibt vage, was es dem Betrachter ermöglicht, seine eigene Traumlandschaft in die Texturen und Formen hineinzuprojizieren, sei es ein Hafen in der Abenddämmerung, eine verlassene Fabrik am Wasser oder eine fantastische Welt unter einem nebligen Himmel.

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.
Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.
A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.
Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.
Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
