Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Eyes of Orange’ by Color Square

Pigeons in an intimate, almost portrait-like composition, their heads tilting slightly towards one another. The birds are painted in rich shades of blue, with subtle transitions to green and purple in their feathers. Their eyes immediately catch the eye: bright orange with a sharp, almost piercing gaze that contrasts with the soft, thick brushwork of the rest of the painting.

The background is calm and light, built up from coarse, visible brushstrokes in white and beige, clearly bringing out the texture of the canvas. This neutrality allows the pigeons to emerge from the surface, as it were. Small details, such as the white patches around the beak and the layering in the feathers, give the work character and depth.

The slightly tilted positions of the heads create a subtle dynamism and a sense of interaction between the two animals. The work balances between realism and expression, with the paint texture and colour contrasts in particular conveying the emotion. The whole evokes a quiet curiosity, as if the birds are observing the viewer.
