Gold and black sculpture

This gold-and-black sculptural artwork features two smooth, seed-like forms resting at an angle against one another, one finished in brushed gold and the other in matt black with a thin, vertical groove. The gold form catches the light and displays a warm sheen that runs from its curved belly to its sharp tip, whilst the black form absorbs almost all the light and takes on only a soft glow along its edge. Against the dark, brown-black background, the two forms appear to communicate with one another, like a duo of opposites that complement each other. The soft shadows on the background lend the image a tranquil, theatrical depth. Warm gold and deep black, balanced by soft light, give this artwork a refined and luxurious appearance that is subtle yet unmistakably present.

The idea of duality – such as day and night, or light and shadow – is given a modern, abstract interpretation here in two contrasting forms that touch one another and together form a single whole.

For a stylish, atmospheric space with warm or dark accents, this is an elegant addition to any wall, and the artwork is available in various materials and sizes.
