Historic Court Amersfoort around 1930

The photo of the Hof (one of the many squares) in Amersfoort is an adaptation of an original photo of my own into this atmosphere. The editing takes us back in time, reviving the past.

In part of the Hof (with the Vijver street around the corner), this shot was taken during the summer. As a photographer, I was lucky to find this couple sitting at a table.
The atmosphere of this edit makes you imagine yourself somewhere in an old city with unusual buildings. This is fairly similar to historic Amersfoort, a museum on the square kilometre.

There are various catering establishments on the Hof, and this corner is a feature of that, including the house with the stepped gables. The street lanterns are another fine example, recurring in many places in the city centre.
AI was used for this edit and the effect was very surprising to me.
Many older Amersfoorters will recognise this little corner, which immediately evokes cherished memories with various emotions. It is a place not to be forgotten.
