Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

The church dedicated to Jacobus the Multiple in the village of Feerwerd in the province of Groningen was built at the beginning of the 13th century and was originally vaulted. The tombstone of the Small Borg resident Sicke Luersumma from 1493 is special, but the inhabitants of the Great Borg, the Aldringa's, have also left their traces…

Bo Scheeringa is an enthusiastic landscape photographer, with a great passion for the Dutch province of Groningen and Ireland. She also specializes in portrait and documentary photography. Bo mainly works on her own projects.
She published two photo books: in 2017 "RUIM LEVEN a portrait of North Groningen and its inhabitants" appeared, and in 2021 she published the photo book "PEAT".
