About ‘Kingfisher - Last light’ by Kingfisher.photo - Corné van Oosterhout
Kingfishers set off about three quarters of an hour before sunrise, when it's just light enough for them to fly. Under the same light conditions in the evening, they return to their sleeping location, individually, usually in a shrub in a quiet place. I took this picture at dusk, when this kingfisher came to eat a fish before bedtime.
