Kingfisher - Like a bullet

Like a bullet, this kingfisher shoots towards its target, a small fish underwater. Just above the water's surface, it opens its beak; this fish doesn't stand a chance against such speed. At just the right moment, I manage to capture it for eternity. Thirty years of passion, growth, deepening, perseverance and wonder — captured in a single wingbeat.

I hope that when choosing a work of art for your wall, you make a well-considered decision. Nowadays, we increasingly see works created with the help of artificial intelligence and other digital techniques. Unfortunately, these are easily accessible to everyone, even those without an artistic background. This puts artists who work with traditional techniques, such as painting or photography, at a disadvantage. Ironically, their work and vision often form the basis for the visual material that feeds AI. This creates an unfair competitive environment, in which craftsmanship and originality are at risk of losing out to speed and convenience. Hopefully, this development will not come at the expense of the appreciation of authentic, traditional art forms. By choosing real art for your wall, you are supporting real artists.
