Walking around on a beach near the small village of Ho'oumi on the island of Nuku Hiva, part of the Marquesas Islands in French Polynesia. In these settings we regularly have the feeling of staying here permanently. Great weather, friendly people, what more would we want?

Let me start by introducing myself. I'm Frank from the Netherlands, currently sixty-eight years old and retired for over a decade already. This gives me plenty of time to spend on one of the most fascinating hobbies I have, pho­tography. It combines really well with travelling, another passion of mine.
