Lines of a Silent Face

A refined portrait composed of flowing, almost weightless lines that only partially define the face. The contours of the face, the nose and the lips are drawn with thin, elegant lines in a soft golden hue, whilst cool shades of blue suggest subtle shadows. This creates an intriguing interplay between line and plane, with parts of the face dissolving into the background.

The eye forms a central focal point within the composition: rendered in greater detail than the rest, with a clear gaze that contrasts with the abstraction surrounding it. The rest of the face seems almost to fade away, as if it were merely a memory or a fleeting impression. Fine line structures around the lips and jaw create a sense of movement, as if the portrait were constantly redrawing itself.

The background remains light and calm, allowing the delicate lines and soft areas of colour to come into their own. Small nuances, such as overlapping lines and variations in line thickness, add depth and rhythm. The work exudes elegance, modernity and subtlety, and effortlessly balances between illustration and abstract art.
