Miniature Spitz with a flowing coat

This detailed pencil drawing depicts a male Miniature Spitz with a flowing coat in black and white. I have used fine lines and subtle shading to capture the soft appearance of his fluffy coat. His dark eyes and pointed muzzle, which are typical of this breed, form the focal point of the drawing. In this piece, it was important to me to capture the gentle and curious expression of a small dog with soulful eyes. My love of dogs inspired me to create a series of animal portraits characterised by subtle shades of grey and delicate shading. To bring out the details and focus on the interplay of light and shadow, I create a dense network of fine lines on the paper. Furthermore, I find it particularly interesting to depict the dog’s characteristic facial features and poses, and to highlight the texture of its coat. My aim is to bring the character of our lovable companions to life on paper and to capture special moments.
