For the work 'Moonlight City', I was inspired by the visual style of the film Sin City. I was particularly inspired by the way the film noir style is combined with vibrant colours. In the painting, we see a woman in a red dress standing on a balcony, looking out over a large city with many lights and skyscrapers in the distance. A large, full moon hangs over the city and some birds fly by in front of it. The image creates a mysterious atmosphere and a sense of peace and serenity in the middle of the busy city.
