Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Oldtimer in Namibia’ by Anneke Hooijer

Somewhere on the plain after Keetmanshoop, in Namibia there is a car along the side of the gravel road that has long since been abandoned. It is desolate, windy and hot. Nothing is left but the chassis, which is already rusted over large parts. Still, something remains of the original green colour the car must have had.
