About the artwork

The "Painted skyline of Rotterdam" is a beautiful and detailed artwork depicting the skyline of Rotterdam as seen from the Euromast towards the Kop van Zuid. Important buildings such as the Rotterdam, Erasmus Bridge, Hotel New York, Nieuwe Maas and the Westerlaantoren are clearly recognisable in the image. This colourful work was created with a mix of different photos combined with sketching and digital painting techniques. The high resolution and many fine details of this work make it extremely suitable to be printed large, making it a wonderful addition to the wall of a true Rotterdam lover. The colours in the work are vibrant and give the image a sense of energy and movement. This is an artwork that stands out and attracts attention. This work was originally created to hang on the wall in a Rotterdam hospital, as patients commented that the rooms were too white and sterile. Now it hangs in an examination room at the Franciscus location Gasthuis in Rotterdam, where it is a wonderful addition for patients and medical staff. The work is a tribute to the beautiful city of Rotterdam and a great way to bring a bit of the city into the hospital.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
