Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Reed in winter’ by Jan van der Knaap

Waving reeds in the warming winter sun, while the skaters are enjoying themselves on the cold ice in the background. The sun is already quite warm in mid-February and I tried to capture that in this photo. The photo was taken on the Hoornsche Hop, a small bay next to the harbor of Hoorn.
